Can I take my dog with?
Yes, of course! Just remember to take care of responsibilities for dog owners:
The dog’s droppings must be collected in the trash, both in the camping forest and outside it, without exception. Poop bags can be found at the entrance and at the campfire site.
Hevonkuusi is fenced with a fence, which is two meters high. The lower part is small-sized loops 5cm*15cm, so it also restrains small-sized dogs. The stitch size increases towards the top. The fence extends all the way to the ground, but it doesn’t necessarily stop an exceptionally skilled or determined escapee. So don’t leave your dog unattended. Full responsibility for the dog rests with the dog owner.
The lean-to is an accommodation facility, not a place for dogs to climb. The outhouse and table are also not intended for dogs. There is plenty of other space for dogs to romp around.
Keeping dogs off-leash in our fenced area in Hevonkuusi is allowed (Article 51 of the Hunting Act). It is strictly forbidden to let the dog loose outside the fenced area.
Dogs cannot swim in the nearby lake. The beaches are private. All cottagers’ own peace must be respected.
In the natural forest there are places of danger for both people and animals; slippery moss, stones, stumps, tree trunks, sticks and more. Enjoy nature with caution!
